Speaker Bio: Mischa Kaplan is the owner and President of Rainbow Foods, a natural foods retailer that is currently in its 38th year of business. A third generation retailer, Mischa has gained experience across the food industry spectrum. He currently chairs the Retail Advisory Council of the Canadian Health Food Association, and he is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Ontario Natural Food Co-Op, Ontario’s largest independent natural foods distributor with operations across the country.
Mischa is also a regular contributor to Canadian Natural Health Retailer magazine, Canada’s largest natural foods industry publication. As an expert on the local and natural foods industry, he has appeared on a variety of local media outlets, including CTV Morning Live and CBC Radio’s “All in a Day”.
