What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Each day you will have a different meeting point. You will be sent the details after registration. Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to check-in. The buses will leave promptly at 7am to take you to your starting point. These are self-guided hikes. Follow the white blazes and other hikers in the event. The trail will lead you back to your car.

What should I bring to the event?

Snacks and beverages (water, electrolyte replenishment waters/gels). There are 2 check points along the way where you can refill a water bottle and get a snack, however, because everyone's needs are different you should have enough food and water to sustain you through a 5-7 hour day. Wear appropriate hiking footwear and clothing as the hike covers some very rough and hilly terrain and takes place 'rain or shine'. Hiking poles are recommended, especially for the first day (it is the rockiest section).

How long will the hikes take?

Hikes may take 5-7 hours each day based on an average pace of 4 km per hour, the weather conditions, and depending on your hiking experience. Should you be unable to continue the day's hike you must stop ONLY at a check point where a volunteer will take you back to your vehicle. This is not a hike for beginners.

Can I bring my dog?

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed at this hiking event

How can I contact the event organizer with any questions?

Event Co-ordinator: Debbie Earle; email: debbie.niagarae2e@gmail.com or call/text: 905-401-8900

Do not respond to 'Contact the Organizer' on Eventbrite.

What's the refund policy?

There are NO REFUNDS --- The event takes place 'rain or shine'.

Now you can pre-order this attractive NBTC Tube Scarf for only $15. It will be available for pickup at the event.
