Brunch and Punch with the PRC!

Join us in celebrating the first anniversary of Rock Steady Boxing Toronto and the Parkinson's Resource Centre!
Come and have a fun family games day featuring brunch, board games, and boxing.
- "Get into the ring" with 2x Olympic boxer, Andrew Kooner
($60 for 60 seconds, must be 18 or older)
- Meet former WWE wrestler Santino Marella
- Games for all ages, including board games and physical activities - something for all abilities
- Boxing lessons for all ages
- Boxing demos (featuring Rock Steady boxers and coaches)
- Wrestling demos
- The chance to win some great prizes
- And, of course, brunch snacks and refreshments
Come early to donate and sign up for the opportunity to get into the ring with two-time Olympian and Rock Steady-certified boxer, Andrew Kooner. We’ll even provide the gloves and some training beforehand. [Good news: You’ll be the only one wearing boxing gloves – for Brunch and Punch, Andrew will be wearing focus mitts.]

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
All ages are welcome to attend the event and the brunch and games activities are family friendly with something for all ages and abilities. All participants must sign a general waiver for participation in the event/activities in the gym that day. "In the ring" participants must donate "$60 (to the PRC) for 60 seconds in the ring", be 18 years or older (with picture ID), and sign a waiver before participating in the event.
What forms of payment are accepted?
Cash is preferred for all event activities. Cheques must be made out to the Parkinson's Resource Centre. And a permission form (with picture ID) must be completed for VISA/MC use. Interac/Debit is NOT accepted.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Battle Arts Academy is located at Eglinton and Tomken Road (4880 Tomken Road). It is just off the 403/401 Eglinton exit. Ample free parking is available on-site.
Is the event accessible?
The entrance to Battle Arts Academy is accessible and accessible washrooms are available. All activities take place on the main level, and most activities that day are accessible. Volunteers will be available to answer questions and provide additional support. Please call or email beforehand if you have specific questions or concerns.
What's the refund policy?
Ticket purchases and event activity donations go towards the Parkinson's Resource Centre and its programs, including Rock Steady Boxing Toronto. No refunds are available.
