That's right, 10 YEARS since the first Vancouver BSides! We started from humble beginnings and have grown to be one of Vancouver's favourite cybersecurity conference and we could not do it without the support from our awesome information security and tech community!

What is BSides Vancouver?

BSides Vancouver is brought to you by M.A.R.S., a not-for-profit, independently run organization. The event is a community supported cyber security conference and part of the worldwide Security BSides movement. Visit www.bsidesvancouver.com for more details.

When will the schedule be announced?

The schedule of speakers and workshops will be announced closer to the date of the conference.

Workshops will be on Sunday April 30, 2023. Access to workshops are given to MARS Members first. Remaining workshop slots will be released pending availability. 

When is the BSides Vancouver 2023 After Party

Saturday April 29, 2023. Details and RSVP announced soon. 

Do we offer a student ticket AKA can I attend for free?

Many BSides conferences do offer free tickets, we, unfortunately, cannot due to the costs of running the event, it is Vancouver after all! That said, we do provide a premium experience and subsidize the costs to ensure the event is accessible for all.

If you are a student, we are offering a student ticket with valid student email and ID.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

BSides Vancouver 2023 is located in the downtown core at SFU Harbour Centre. There are lots of transit and parking options available for you.

What's the refund policy?

Tickets are non-refundable. While we would like to be flexible with our community, dealing with refunds takes away time from the organizing of the actual event. 

If you have submitted a paper and are accepted or if you have decided to volunteer your time we will gladly refund your ticket.

If you purchased a ticket you can login to Eventbrite and transfer your ticket to another user. Please do not contact us to do so.
