Event description
4 wk skills based workshop.Teaching strategies to calm perfectionistic thinking (Saturdays) Price $280 - Earlybird price $250

About this Event

A perfectionist tends to conjure up an immaculate vision of how things “should” be. Perfectionism becomes a problem when one’s worth is based on reaching impossibly high standards. If you have a daughter in grades 7,8 and 9 that has a fear of failing or feels that she (or others) has to do everything perfectly, this is the workshop for her. This workshop is comprised of 4 skills-based sessions, all Saturdays starting February 1st - February 22, 2020 from 10am - 11.30 am.

This workshop will give your daughter the tools to cope with some of the common downsides to being caught in the “perfect trap”; procrastination, mood swings, disrupted sleep, physical complains, unhealthy comparison and competition with others, and a relentless internal self-critic!

We want for her to remain amazing while also…

· being kinder to herself

· challenging herself & taking risks for the sake of developing her learning, courage and curiosity

· allowing mistakes

· being more realistic & flexible in her thinking

· needing less control

· trusting in her ability to handle bad things if they were to happen

· balancing life & feeling more joy

· celebrating her achievements

This workshop is being facilitated by Melanie Badour, Registered Provisional Psychologist and EMDR therapist. For more information about Mel, visit tashabelix.com and visit the team page.

*Receipts will be given for this therapeutic workshop.
