Buddha and the Boardroom: Issues on Wealth, Happiness, and the Settled Heart/Mind

The Vancouver Buddhist Temple is pleased to announce the speaking engagement of Rev. Patricia Usuki of the San Fernando Valley Hongwanji Buddhist Temple in California on Friday, April 7th, 7-9 pm

Rev. Usuki, educated at the Universities of Toronto and Ottawa has an illustrious career including an assignment with the Federal Government as special assistant to former Prime Minister Brian Mulroney. Included in her many accomplishments, Rev. Usuki is the author of the book, Currents of Change: American Buddhist Women Speak Out on Jodo Shinshu.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Coming by car? There is underground parking. Enter the underground parking lot from the left lane on Powell Street. If the door does not open, press the buzzer to the left of the door.

Coming by bus? Catch the Nos. 4, 7, 14, 16 or 20 to get to the Vancouver Buddhist Temple. (See below)

- Nos 14, 16 & 20 Eastbound or Westbound on Hastings, exit at the Jackson St. bus stop. Walk 1.5 blocks north to the temple.

- Nos 4 or 7 Eastbound on Cordova, exit at the Dunlevy St. bus stop then walk 1 block East and 1/2 block north to the temple.

- Nos 4 or 7 Westbound on Powell, exit at the Jackson St. bus stop then walk across the street to the temple.
