Description

Building Bridges among East Asian Canadians: How Does Racism Affect Us.

This is a partnership event presented by the Canadian Race Relations Foundation (CRRF) and the Human Rights Committee of the Greater Vancouver Japanese Canadians Citizens Association (GVJCCA).

At the forum, through panel discussions and dialogues, we hope to foster intercommunity relations, by sharing historical perspectives among different East Asian Canadian Communities, and engaging in discussions involving recent issues. Our ultimate goal is to move towards reconciliation, community network building, and a concerted effort to eliminate racism and human rights injustices for all in Canadian society.

The CRRF Annual Public Meeting will also be held during this time.

Details about panel members will be shared in the coming weeks.
