Event description

Description

This inspiring half-day workshop will excavate and address the uncomfortable history around whom we've been planning for and who we've excluded in our cities. You will get to move and be moved by an immersive presentation about the intersections between active transportation, alzheimer's and accessibility. Expect some tough questions that we don't always like to talk about, but talk about we must. Expect interaction and ideas. Expect the experience of music and the audience to matter. Expect to visit the neighbourhood and see your city through a new lens.

If you are a city planner, engineer, elected official, university student, caregiver, advocate or public health practitioner, you will not want to miss this event.
If you or your family is living with a visible or invisible disability including Alzheimer's and would like to be part of re-imagining city's built with equity and care, please contact the organizers.

This is an immersive learning experience that you won't want to miss.
