Building in Blender with Bronson Jacque
Event Information
About this event
The Inuit Futures’ project is proud to share the third workshop in our series in collaboration with the Indigenous Screen Office! Join us on December 15th, at 2:00pm AST (1:00pm EST) for a workshop on basics of using Blender for 3D design. By the end of the workshop participants will have designed and rendered an igloo and have the tools to begin experimenting with 3D design on their own.
Inuit Futures' ISO Workshop Series is a way for our community to gather and connect artists in film, video, graphic design and their practices. This series of workshops, similar to those we held last year De-ICE-olation: Online Artist Workshop Series, features film, video and screen professionals from around the country. Featuring entirely Inuit leaders sharing skills and knowledge with other Inuit and Indigenous attendees, we hope to share valuable professional and creative skills with Inuit and Indigenous peoples, create a sense of community and connection for all who participate. Visit the Inuit Futures website to see the upcoming virtual workshops that are offered throughout the fall.(http://www.inuitfutures.com/) More workshops will be added weekly! Questions and comments about the Inuit Futures’ ISO workshop series can be directed here: inuitfutures@gmail.com
The workshop will take place online using Zoom. Upon registering for the workshop, you will receive instructions on how to use Zoom. This workshop, like every ISO series workshop, is free.
About Bronson Jacque:
Bronson Jacque is an Inuit visual artist who grew up in Postville, Nunatsiavut (Labrador).
