Building the next generation of public innovation

An innovation thought leadership session with Nesta & States of Change

To help solve the complex challenges in society today, governments need to up their game when it comes to innovation. How does that work and what is needed for it?

In 2018, the Impact and Innovation Unit will be working with Nesta and leading international practitioners to co-develop States of Change, a public learning collective dedicated to building the capability and culture of governments to practically deal with the problems they are facing.

They will be visiting Ottawa in June for an intensive 'exploratory' week, and we invite you to meet some of their staff and world-leading faculty to hear about the global trends that are influencing the way we, as policy and program staff, are thinking about building innovation capacity in government. Explore with them the challenges and opportunities this presents and network with like-minded colleagues.

En 2018, l’Unité responsable de l’impact et de l’innovation travaillera en collaboration avec Nesta et d’éminents spécialistes de partout dans le monde pour élaborer conjointement States of Change, un collectif d’apprentissage public dédié au renforcement des capacités et de la culture des gouvernements afin de remédier de façon concrète aux problèmes auxquels ils font face.
