Wed, 12 October 2016, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM EDT
Ninjutsu is the combative martial art of the ninja of Japan, based on 9 schools of Samurai and Ninja arts, some of which dating back nearly 1000 years. Although there is much more to ninjutsu than combat and martial arts, the emphasis of this class is on teaching those combative skills, called Budo Taijutsu.
Budo Taijutsu is the warrior way of moving one’s body in combat utilizing various striking and kicking techniques as well as throws, pins, joint locks, breaks, and a wide variety of weapons. The focus in regular classes is the development of strong fundamentals and teaching you how to train yourself in between classes.
Classes are outdoors for the summer.
