Bullet Journal Workshop for Weight Watchers - May
Tue, 9 May 2017, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM EDT
Have you met the Bullet Journal system?
Bullet Journals were invented by Ryder Carroll in 2013, and have since taken the world by storm. They're especially perfect for those working towards a goal, but also for time management, tracking, list-making, record-keeping, and even for mindfulness and meditation. The Bullet Journal will keep you on track for life goals both big and small, and, best of all, it's as customized, adaptable, motivational, and as arty as you want to make it.
Whatever change you'd like to make, your Bullet Journal can help map your path. Would you like to drink more water? Run a 5k? Spend less? Read more? Whatever your goals, the Bullet Journal system can get you there. Come along to this fun workshop to be inspired and create your own #bujo!
Kat Akerfeldt has been leading Bullet Journal workshops at Toronto's First Post Office, and has adapted the workshop especially for Weight Watchers members. A member herself, she has been using her own Bullet Journal to reach her weight loss, self-care, and fitness goals, and will share examples and ideas on how you can, too!
We'll go through the basic system, as well as sharing some options and innovations to make the most of your year, and then we'll get down to setting up your journal. There will be lots of time and inspiration for experimenting with layouts and fun with design.
We will supply everything you need, except for your actual journal. Bring your own notebook, or pre-order one to meet you at the workshop.
If you BYO, we recommend a notebook with dotted or grid paper, about 5x8", and about 250 pages.
Or pre-order a Leuchtturm1917 to meet you at the workshop. This notebook has everything: high quality, acid-free paper that resists bleed-through, dotted, numbered pages, a table of contents, a ribbon bookmark, and an elastic closure. Add the Leuchtturm1917 onto your registration (there will be an option to add a notebook to your order), and it will be waiting for you at the workshop. We'll also have a few available on the night.
You may also want to bring a favourite pen, but we'll have lots of other supplies to help make your new bullet journal feel like home.
