Description

This session will educate and inform participants about the new WorkSafeBC Prevention Policies governing bullying and harassment for all workplace parties. You will gain a better understanding of what is considered bullying and harassment in the workplace and what is not. You will also learn the requirements for creating a workplace policy, in addition to internal procedures including: reporting; investigating; and informing and training your workforce. Additional resources to assist you will also be provided. This session is intended for business owners, managers, supervisors, human resource professionals and safety coordinators. This is not training required by employers to provide to workers on respectful workplace.

Presented by Laraine Ashpole, an Employers' Adviser with the Ministry Jobs, Tourism and Skills Training and Responsible for Labour.
