Bullying and Harassment in the Workplace

The modern workplace is no longer strictly separated from employees’ life outside of work; work and life are a continuum, not opposing sides of a balance scale. In this workshop, we explore how employers can prevent and respond to bullying and harassment where life and work blend together, and where the anonymity of the internet may contribute to a culture of incivility. We will also discuss whether, in the era of #metoo, your policies and procedures for dealing with claims of bullying and harassment should be revisited.
