Event description

Description

This 2-day course is designed to give Project Managers a better understanding of Business Analysis and how it can help them improve their projects. Project Managers will learn how to make more effective use of Business Analysts for their projects and also how to themselves employ some Business analysis tools, techniques, and approaches for better project outcomes. This course will focus on the real-world aspects of the material for PMs with an emphasis on practical examples and exercises.

Business Analysis is considered by many to be the way to achieve the next quantum leap in project performance since formalized, professional project management.

This course is not meant to be a comprehensive account of BA for working Business Analysts but rather covers specific parts of the BA Body of Knowledge as they specifically relate to working Project Managers and certain of the Knowledge Areas of PMI’s Guide to the PMBOK.

This course conforms to the internationally recognized standards of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) and their respective Bodies of Knowledge.
