Brad J. Ryder (Electric Mobility Canada)

The Electric Mobility Revolution: The Future is Now


As President and CEO of Electric Mobility Canada (EMC), Brad leads the only national association dedicated to promoting all forms of electric mobility. Prior to joining EMC, Brad advised some of the world’s largest companies and biggest global brands on issues of strategic and crisis communications, government and stakeholder engagement, policy, internal communications and employee engagement and corporate social responsibility and philanthropy. Brad has held senior level Corporate Affairs roles with Glencore, Coca-Cola, Vale, Biogen and Merck. Brad has also worked in Botswana for the Bill & Melinda Gates/Merck funded landmark HIV/AIDS project, with the United Nations and the World Economic Forum in Geneva. Brad holds an MA in History from the University of Ottawa, a Diploma in Political Studies from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences-Po) and a Masters in International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. He is fluent in French and resides in the High Park area of Toronto with his twin 8 year old daughters.
