This course provides advanced instruction in executing a business plan by teaching external activities like marketing and competitive dynamics, as well as internal activities such as finance, investing and cash flow management.

The seminar offers resources for entrepreneurs with steady cash flow, but wanting to advance their  management tool kit.  HLCol Geoffrey T. Desmoulin, PhD, RKin, Principal of GTD Engineering , and host of television's “Deadliest Warrior” is bringing his expertise in business management to a one day course where you will learn the more progressive principals of a successful company.

Upon completion of this workshop, attendees will possess the tools to navigate and overcome the challenges of growing a business.. They will have participated in lively discussions, produced in class assignments, and given presentations in order to solidify take home messages. .

Course Delivery:

Verbal instruction, powerpoint, case scenarios, group activities and discussion with real-life take home messages . Note taking may be required.

About the Venue:

The course will be held at Simon Fraser University at 515 West Hastings in Vancouver's "intellectual heart of the city". The venue is easily accessible by seabus and transit; and is centrally located with parking nearby, and an assortment of cafe's and restaurants within walking distance; including an open student concourse onsite with a view of the ocean and North Shore.

HLCol Geoffrey T. Desmoulin, PhD, RKin. (#2012080) 

Dr. Desmoulin is the Principal and Senior Biomechanist of GTD Engineering ( GTD offers Biomechanical Consulting Services on behalf of clients throughout North America, as well as abroad. Focused practice areas include Injury Biomechanics, Incident Reconstruction and Physical Testing with a sub-specialty in the Science of Violence TM . GTD is retained in significant complex injury litigation cases and is contracted to perform injury related product investigations regularly.


In addition, Dr. Desmoulin was selected from an international pool of applicants to be the science and engineering host for Viacom Networks hit television show “Deadliest Warrior”. In this high-profile position he assessed engineering aspects and injury potential of weapons used throughout history. The series filmed thirty-three episodes (1-hour format) and continues to air throughout the world in over sixteen countries and thirty-two different languages.
