Event description

Description

Chatham-Kent Economic Development is hosting a lunch and learn event to help businesses understand how to take advantage of a wide range of agricultural grants for the food and beverage industry.

You will hear from grant experts at Mentor Works about the availability of grants, how to apply, and tips and tricks to make your grant application successful. You will also be able to connect directly with the experts regarding your specific needs.

Canadian agricultural producers and processors can access a broad spectrum of funding to offset the cost of strategic growth and investment projects. With so many companies operating in this sector from coast to coast, the federal and provincial governments provide targeted funding to fuel business development and diversification. As a result, strategic and forward-planning companies can access thousands or even millions of dollars to complete projects that unlock growth potential.

Grants include:

- AgriMarketing
- AgriInnovate
- Canada Job Grant (CJG)
- Canadian Agriculture Partnership (CAP)
- Protein Industries Canada Supercluster Funding
- Hiring Grants
- Business Scale-up and Productivity Program (BSP) Southern Ontario
- Eastern Ontario Development Fund (EODF)
- FedDev Ontario Training Program (FOTP)
- Southwestern Ontario Development Fund (SWODF)

If you have questions about additional grants, there will be an opportunity for discussion following the presentation.

This is a no-cost event. Space is limited to 45 attendees.
