Join Us!

Community Innovation Lab's The Refinery program helps passionate women entrepreneurs accelerate their businesses by providing the strategies, tools, and support they need to achieve their fullest potential.

We have partnered up with the Durham Area Women's Network to offer a series of business planning workshops for #FemaleFounders.

Come prepared to network with other women business owners and enjoy catering by Frantastic Events as you explore how your business is going to flourish.

Workshop Outcomes and Professional Development

The Business Model Canvas is like the swiss army knife in the entrepreneur's toolkit. It is a single page creation, designed to replace the hundreds of pages of waste in a traditional business plan. It provides the creativity and flexibility of a napkin sketch with the structure of an action plan. It is used to innovate new growth engines for your business, strategize future plans, gain a better understanding of your operations (and the competition!), and make sure everything is in alignment with your purpose and vision.

We will be working through the entire canvas over a series of workshops - attend them all to walk away with a completed canvas.

Invest in your business through this deep dive, and take the opportunity to work on your business rather than in it!
