Want the inside scoop about what bankers are looking for in your business plan? This event is for you!

We’re teaming up with our affinity partner, BMO, to ensure you know what will make your plan stick out above the rest. Cory Harsch CMA-CPA, MBA, Vice President of Business Banking at BMO Bank of Montreal, will teach you what the bank is looking for, why they want to hear your story and why full transparency is so important. Plus, you will learn general information about various products that may support your business.

If you are trying to secure a loan, you won’t want to miss this session.

Free parking is available. Room location and parking passes will be sent prior to the event. Doors open at 5:30pm. Presentation begins at 6:00pm sharp.

Cory Harsch, CMA-CPA, MBA

Cory Harsch is the Vice President, Business Banking for Edmonton and area with BMO Bank of Montreal. Cory joined the Bank in 1994 and progressed through various roles in retail/personal banking, auto finance, business credit department, business banking, and operations leadership – having spent his entire career in the Edmonton area. In December 2014, he was appointed Vice President for Edmonton Small Business Banking.

In his current role, Cory is responsible for Executive leadership of a business banking team of 18 employees. The team is accountable to maximize growth, profitability and customer experience for clients in the Small Business market (i.e. up to $5 million in financing requirements).

Cory received his Bachelor of Accounting, from Southern California College in Costa Mesa, California (where he attended on a College Baseball Scholarship). Cory obtained his Certified Management Accounting (CMA-CPA) designation in 1999 and earned his MBA-Financial Services via Dalhousie University in 2008.

Cory and his wife Dawn are also Entrepreneurs (having started Exquisicare Senior Living – www.exquisicare.com) 7 years ago. They have since expanded this business and have also started Care at Home, by Exquisicare (a senior homecare services provider). Cory’s wife, Dawn, is the current Chair of the Board for the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce – and both Cory and Dawn can be found at many of the networking and charity events held in the City – all year long.

Cory and Dawn have 3 children (a daughter who is 21 and boy/girl twins who just turned 12). Cory has been active in the community during his career; he coaches his son’s AA rep baseball team in the summer and assistant coaches hockey in the winter.
