For the past two years of the Covid-19 pandemic, all communities in Canada including the Muslim community have been greatly impacted. Especially during religious occasions like Eid and Ramadan, Muslims felt a lack of togetherness as they were required to stay at home and abstain from large gatherings, which took away the magic of the celebration.

Al-Risala Academy, a private school in Mississauga is hosting a Covid-free festival for members of the Muslim community to gather and ​​enjoy communal festivities they had been accustomed to, pre-covid. This event will include a bazaar with local vendors from the community, honourable guest speakers, performances, and so much more!
