You're invited to be a part of our annual Christmas Serve week here at C3 Calgary!

From Monday Dec 5th - Saturday Dec. 10th, we are partnering with organizations all across the city who are all working to serve different marginalized communities here in Calgary. From serving a hot meal, to packing Christmas gifts, or delivering food to families in need - there is something for everyone. Our heart is to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our city - so grab a friend, and pick the day and time slot that works best for you.

Here are the organizations we're serving with:

Meals on Wheels: A not-for-profit organization that promotes health and independence by providing nutritious and affordable meals to all Calgarians. Support affordable food access for older adults and those with mobility barriers by transporting meals directly to their front door. This is a great opportunity for the whole family to participate in. **Requires access to a vehicle**

Calgary Pregnancy Care Centre: A non-profit charity offering pregnancy and family support for those in challenging situations, caring primarily for women, youth and families since 1985. Cleaning, organizing and sort donations such as baby clothes and bottles to support women facing unanticipated pregnancies. Open to all ages, men & women.

Samaritan's Purse: An evangelical Christian humanitarian aid organization that provides aid to people in physical need. Pack shoe-boxes for children overseas at the processing centre. Open to all ages, men and women.

Next Steps Ministries: A Christian non-profit that works to walk alongside women exiting sexual exploitation as they break the cycles of addiction and abuse. Tuesay morning serve opportunity is cleaning and organizing Chrsitmas gifts at the NSM office. Friday evening is the stroll outreach where you will connect with street level sex workers to hand out basic necessities and providing oportunity for prayer. *Must be female and 18 years old and above for both of these opportunities*

The Mustard Seed: Serve those experiencing homelessness in calgary by participating in lunch time meal service and clean up. This opportunity takes place at The Mustard Seed Shelter in the SE. Volunteers must be 16 years or older to participate.

Kingdom Coffee: Coffee with a cause. Helping people into recovery & finding them a place to sleep at night. Hand out coffee and minister to those experiencing homelessness in the downtown area. 15 years old and up recommended.

Calgary Food Bank: The Calgary Food Bank is the first line of emergency food support for families and individuals facing crisis. This opportunity is in the foodbank’s warehouse where you will be apart of the organization and sorting of food placed in hampers that families receive. Must be 12 years old or older.

Inn From The Cold: Helps families overcome the obstacles that can lead to a cycle of homelessness. Throughout serve-week we will be accepting donations at C3 West to provide some of the critical needs on their list this winter. See list below of their current needs.
