Do you wake each morning to a brand new beautiful day, paddle your way into the kitchen to make a glorious cup of java only to be slapped in the face with your ugly kitchen cabinets?!?!
Think they're too big of a job to handle?
We're not gonna lie; transforming your kitchen cabinets is a big job, but certainly not to big to handle! Join us in this workshop and we will walk you through the logistics of personally painting your own kitchen cabinets. We will share tricks and tips of the trade from the experience we've gained painting many client's kitchens, as well as our own. Oh, and what about those ugly white appliances that stick out like a sore thumb? Paint them! That's right. You can paint those too with Chalk Paint by Annie Sloan.
What will I learn?
During this hands on workshop you will learn four of the most popular techniques that our customers and clients use for revamping their kitchen. You will play with the same paint, wax, water based glazes and alternative topcoats that we use! All required tools and materials will be supplied for the class. Based on the products used in class, students can budget $200-$300 (on average) to totally transform their kitchen! You will go home with a completed cabinet door and samples pieces that will give you the inspiration and confidence to begin restyling your kitchen. You will also take home one of Annie's Colour Cards.
What is Chalk Paint?
Chalk Paint is the unique decorative paint Annie Sloan developed for furniture, floors and walls, drawing on a lifetime of research and experience in working with paint and colour. She chose the name “Chalk Paint” because it was suggestive of its very matt—almost chalky—finish.
Why is Chalk Paint so great?
Chalk Paint is our absolute favourite paint because it is so fun and easy to use. It effortlessly sticks to almost any surface without sanding or priming, is flexible, adaptable and forgiving. With Chalk Paint the possibilities for restyling your space are endless.
