Pre-order café meal kits created by our Baking and Pastry Students. Pick up yours on December 12, 2025 - 11:45 am to 12:30 pm.

Meal kits will be ready for pickup in the George Brown Chef School Grand Atrium (SJB, 300 Adelaide St. E, Toronto - Main Floor) on Friday, December 12, between 11:45 am and 12:30 pm.

Our Baking and Pastry Arts students are pleased to offer unique Café Concept Meal Kits for sale, as part of their third-semester lab exams. In teams of two, students have created unique and specially designed menus to showcase all the skills they have acquired to date, based on a café concept of their own. Many unique, creative, and delicious meal kits are available to choose from!

Café Concept Meal Kits are an excellent value — only $29.99 plus HST — and a perfect way to support our hard-working students!

Every Café Concept Meal Kit includes:

  • A full-size loaf of bread
  • A jarred preserve
  • An appetizer dish (One portioin)
  • A main course meal with sides (One portion)
  • A Viennoiserie product (a speciality croissant or similar)
  • A dessert element

Mémère’s Kitchen

A cafe that feels less like a restaurant and more like a tiny home in the middle of France with your Nonna’s food. The smell of the delicious slow-raised stews and fresh bread, accompanied by the mismatched chairs and wooden table with fresh-picked flowers and mismatched tablecloths. Food happily stuck in tradition, and customers who are treated more like family and less like transactions.

Taste of Home: Bharat x Bayan

Our concept is a taste of home. It celebrates the shared heart of Filipino and Indian comfort food: dishes that remind people of home, family, and creativity in the kitchen. The names Bharát (India) and Bayan (the Filipino word for “community” or “home”) represent how food connects people from different backgrounds through shared flavors and traditions.
