Café Scientifique – 3D Bioprinting: Shaping the Future of Health
Imagine a world where drugs are developed without the use of animals, where doctors know how a patient will react to a drug before prescribing it and where patients can have a replacement organ 3D-printed using their own cells, without dealing with long donor waiting lists or organ rejection. 3D bioprinting could enable this world. Join us for discussion and dessert as we hear from academic and industry professionals about the applications for 3D bioprinting, how it is shaping the future of health and what ethical challenges are involved.
