Event Information
About this event
This module walks you through the ins and outs of the role of the Costume Truck Supervisor on-set. This position is vital to maintaining the order and organization of all that flows through the Costume Truck doors on a daily basis. As an overall goal, the Truck Costumer/ Supervisor works to ensure costumes are maintained, tracked and stored in a camera-ready/Costume Designer intended condition on the costume truck with the support of the Set Supervisor.
The Costume Truck is the centre of all incoming/outgoing actor/BG costumes and comfort needs for shooting on-set. It can house everything from racks and racks of costumes, an office area, and full washer, dryer, and sink. This course is a beginner's guide to learning the proper way to operate such a truck in the fast-paced, busy environment of set life.
