Description

Join us for another installment of our Brewmaster's Dinner series, hosted by Calabogie Brewing Co. The Calabogie Brewing Company is proud to serve the local area with an unrivalled passion and love for beer.

We've partnered with the fine folks of Calabogie Brewing Co. to bring you an evening of great food and beer. With a menu insprired by our Executive Chef, Cass David, we are proud to serve you a four-course dinner menu paired with Calabogie's best brews! Each course is designed to cut or complement the brew and the fine folks from Calabogie will be present to talk your through their beers and tell the history of how their beers came to be!

Welcome beer at 6pm, first course served at 6:30pm.

Menu Below!

Welcome Beer
Bleep Bloop IPA

First Course

English Tea Sandwich
whipped mint goat cheese, cucumber, watermelon, balsamic

Five Island Watermelon Gose
The beer pours a cloudy pale yellow like its peach brother. The head is a white pillow that dissipates quickly. The nose is a blast of watermelon with the faint smell of cut flowers to back it up.

Second Course

White Seafood chowder
leek, preserved lemon, fingerling potatoes, herb oil.

Front Porch Kolsch-Style
Our flagship Kolsch-Style ale has developed a strong following in the Ottawa community. With its bright straw yellow color this beer hits your pallet with a complex yet subtle wash of biscuit and citrus while giving way to a crisp clean finish.

Entrée

Boudin Blanc Meatball Braise
fennel and tomato braised white pudding, grana Padano, nappa colcannon

Double Bogie American Double IPA
Brewed using the same grain bill and 5 hop schedule as its little brother BOGIE (only a boat load more). This American Style Double IPA is a beast. Deliciously huge piney and grapefruit citrus flavours, with enough booze and malt to provide a fair fight on balancing this epic ale.

Dessert

Peanut butter and Jelly Ice cream Sandwich
chocolate shell, mixed berry and peanut swirl ice cream, cinnamon ‘toast’

NITRO BROWN COW Milk Stout
This Nitro Milk Stout pours a beautiful chocolate color cascade; leaving behind a thick ice cream mocha head. The nose is brown sugar, vanilla beans, chocolate, and espresso coffee. Big bodied silky mouth feel leaves way to the rich chocolaty, and slightly roasty flavors with a fleeting sweet finish.
