Description

We warmly invite you to join us for the Calgary Community Action Plan on Human Trafficking Community Forum.

In 2017, ACT Alberta received funding from the City of Calgary's Crime Prevention Investment Plan in order to undertake the Calgary Community Action Plan on Human Trafficking. Working closely with ten partners across the city, over 100 individuals have participated in sharing their knowledge on the risk factors for human trafficking (both sex and labour), the nature of trafficking on the ground, and best practices around supporting survivors.

On Thursday June 14th, we will be holding a community forum where we will share this knowledge, confirm findings with community members, and set the stage for the Action Plan Forum which will be held this fall 2018.

Thank you to everyone who has already joined us in this important work. We hope that you will attend to learn from others in the community, and consider inviting colleagues and partners who may also be interested in these results. All our welcome.

Refreshments will be provided. Further details to follow.
