Event description

Description

The Calgary Engineering Alumni Luncheon is an annual event hosted by U of S engineering alumni to provide our Calgary and area alumni with an opportunity to re-connect, welcome new graduates and U of S engineers to our city, and keep up to date with recent developments at the College of Engineering and the University of Saskatchewan.

The luncheon is a tradition for Calgary engineering alumni and this year we are proud to welcome Alana Getty Somers, civil engineering (BE 2000) alumna, as our 2017 keynote speaker at the newly renovated Petroleum Club. Alana is the General Manager, Transportation Calgary for ISL Engineering, whose team recently completed engineering and construction for Canada's first Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) at Macleod Trail and 162 Ave SE. We look forward to hearing from Alana, learning more about the engineering work that has changed Calgary traffic, and connecting with fellow alumni.
