Calgary Fire Department Drop-In Session August 12, 2017

Registration closes at midnight MST on Friday, August 11, 2017. If the sessions are sold out, check back often as there may be cancellations.

Thinking of applying to be a firefighter with the Calgary Fire Department? We have an opportunity for 100 people to register for drop-in sessions at the Calgary Fire Department Training Academy. There will be 4 sessions throughout the morning, all identical, lasting one hour each with space for 25 people to register for each session.

• check out the tools and equipment used by firefighters at emergency events
• check out the personal protective gear worn by firefighters
• speak with a training officer
• speak with a recruitment officer

Dress comfortably as you will be involved in physical activities.

You will need to fill in a wiaver to attend one of these sessions. We will e-mail the waiver to you if you register by 3:00 pm on Thursday, August 10th. If you register after that time, you will need to fill in the waiver when you arrive for the session.
