Event description

Description

The Calgary World Health Organization Simulation (CalWHO) is an annual 3-day, interdisciplinary global health conference at the University of Calgary Health Sciences Centre that brings together students from across Canada and the US to debate and explore complex public health policy issues. It aims to increase awareness and interest in tackling global health inequities, and to provide students with a platform to develop their leadership potential and affect change at the institutional level. Our theme this year is Climate Change and Health, with subtopics a) Environmental Determinants of Health, b) Transmission and Spread of Infectious Diseases, and c) Natural Disasters.

Register as a country delegate, present your research and/or showcase your organization at our global health fair! Breakfast and lunch are included for delegates.
