Event Details

Are you interested in learning strategies for research dissemination and mobilization? Do you want to learn to engage stakeholders and knowledge users in the research to action cycle? Knowledge mobilization (KMb) and knowledge transfer & translation (KTT) involve not just expressing research findings in ways that are accessible and relevant to stakeholders, but enhancing the multidirectional flow of information between researchers and policy-makers, and practitioners.

Although KTT and KMb are emerging fields of practice, there are currently relatively few training opportunities for graduate student. To help fill this gap, we invite all interested graduate students to come to an initial meeting of a KTT Learning Circle on November 7th. This learning circle will be a community aimed at cultivating skills in KTT and KMb. The initial meeting on November 7th will serve as a introduction to the diverse meanings and forms of knowledge translation/mobilization and will also bring together interested graduate students to determine a direction for this group.

Pizza lunch will be provided for those registered.
