Join us to celebrate Patient & Family Experience Week at the Sunshine Garden Greenhouse and learn about the importance of crop diversity

IN PERSONJoin us as we tour CAMH's <a href="https://foodshare.net/program/sunshine/" title="https://foodshare.net/program/sunshine/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">FoodShare Sunshine Garden</a> Greenhouse and learn about the biodiversity of the food forest. Dr. Javad Mozafari, Garden Coordinator from FoodShare, will share his knowledge about the different strategies for planting gardens that support the local ecosystem. You'll come away with free seeds, a healthy snack, a bucket hat, and lots of information to help get you inspired for the growing season ahead!About the Sunshine Garden: The Foodshare Sunshine Garden is Canada’s first ever market garden on hospital grounds and also operates as a recreational gardening program for patients. Each year, CAMH in-patients and out-patients enjoy the therapeutic returns of nurturing the garden, while getting fresh air and growing food for the weekly Sunshine Garden Market during the Summer months.This workshop is hosted in collaboration with <a href="https://foodshare.net/program/sunshine/" title="https://foodshare.net/program/sunshine/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">FoodShare Toronto</a> in celebration of Patient and Family Experience Week at CAMH.This program is made possible thanks to donor funds through CAMH <a href="https://www.camh.ca/en/your-care/patient-wellness/gifts-of-light" title="https://www.camh.ca/en/your-care/patient-wellness/gifts-of-light" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Gifts of Light</a>.
