Overview
What do a good improv comedian and designer have in common? They both actively listen, collaborate and create. Improv has been used to foster personal and professional growth in a variety of fields. In this workshop, participants will strengthen their communication and collaboration skills, develop empathy toward their users and create new ideas through improv activities.

Hilal Koyuncu
UX Lead and Manager, Google

Hilal is a UX lead and manager at Google, empowering Google Cloud with insightful data visualization experiences that amplify cognition and decision-making. Hilal brings over seven years of design experience to her role, including time at Recombine, Crowdtap, Fjord, Superbright, and Collective Spark. Prior to joining the design world with an MFA in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design, Hilal received her BS in Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics from the University of Maryland College Park. After receiving her BS, she worked at Cornell Medical College as a research assistant conducting research on developmental genetics, cancer and vascular biology. In her free time, Hilal enjoys traveling, music, and making electronic gadgets.
