CAMP DETAILS

Camp Bitobig provides recreational and educational hands-on activities to help children develop an appreciation of their natural environment, through personal observations and experiences while having FUN with our top-notch staff.

Each camp session is 5 days long (except on stat holiday weeks when the fee is prorated), and is based on specific themes which alternate each week. Each child may only be registered in a maxiumum of two sessions.

Camp “Bitobites” are under constant supervision all week, in groups not larger than ten. Some French language programming is available for small group activities, however larger group activities at camp are presented in English.

SCHEDULE

Camp Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday

Friday is “Pizza Lunch”

Lunch, snacks and beverages must be provided by you on the other days of the week.

Wednesday and Friday - Swimming at Laurentian Pool

Note: This is a nut-free and peanut free camp


ACTIVITIES

Theme A - “Survivor” Swimming, canoeing, orienteering, using a GPS, hikes and games relating to wilderness survival skills, crafts, pond study, fishing, survival game, archery, and much, much more!

Theme B - “Pond Pals - Discover who lives in our wetlands and ponds” Swimming, canoeing, pond study, fishing, archery, nature related games, crafts, hikes, and activities introducing our wetland and pond pals in the Conservation Area, and much, much more!



HOW TO REGISTER

ONE CHILD - Click Register (right hand side), choose one OR two session registrations, click check out, complete the registration that follows, and proceed to payment options. Confirmation and further details will be emailed to you.

MULTIPLE CHILDREN - Click Register (right hand side), choose the one OR two session registrations for EACH child, click check out, the page that follows will have ALL of the registrations on it, fill out each registration using the information for the child attending that Session, proceed to payment options. Confirmation and further details will be emailed to you.




FAQs

1. What are my payment options?

Online -> Using the "Pay by Credit/Debit" option, you complete payment info within the registration form for major credits cards AND VISA debit (using the VISA option).

Cheque -> Using the "Pay by Cheque" option, please drop off a cheque within FIVE days, further instructions at the bottom of the registration form and in your confirmation email.

2. After registering, how do I change my session number or edit my registration form?

3. Will I get a receipt?

Your receipt will be emailed to you by Eventbrite after completing the registration. Please keep your receipt for income tax purposes as no other receipt by Conservation Sudbury will be issued.

4. What's the refund policy?

There will be no refunds issued unless we are able to fill your spot(s) in the session you registered for. A processing fee of $10 will be withheld. If you have to cancel due to medical reasons or loss of a loved one, a full refund will be issued.
