Event description

Description

It’s a start-up world. Small, nimble, companies are sprouting out of everywhere and are affecting the way we all do business. It’s easy for a new company to pivot, but how does an established company with challenges and responsibilities navigate the 4th Industrial Revolution?

Please join us for a breakfast discussion on innovation for mature businesses in Kelowna.

Horizon Three is a growing community of like-minded business leaders and innovators looking for what’s next. Our mission is to ‘raise the lake’ for Kelowna's innovators, and it's important that we include you in this dialogue.

Led by Horizon Three founder, Joel Semeniuk, we'll discuss the three horizons of innovation (transactional, transitional, transformational) and the ways that established organizations are innovating – and should be innovating.

For more information on Horizon Three visit http://www.horizonthree.co/vision/

Event Host: Todd Embley, an Okanagan native, is Horizon Three’s Regional Director of BC.

Todd spent 8 years in China, first as a serial entrepreneur before joining the VC firm SOSV as Program Director of Asia’s #1 early stage startup accelerator, Chinaccelerator. After a brief stopover in Silicon Valley for 9 months, he has returned home to help develop Canada’s startup ecosystem and deliver thought provoking entrepreneurial philosophies within the corporate world.
