On April 25, 2018, Canada 2020 will convene a one-day symposium focused on economic growth and development of Indigenous communities through the resource sector.

Canada 2020 is excited to be working with the Right Honourable Paul Martin and the Martin Family Initiative (MFI) for this event.

Canada 2020 will host a series of in-depth discussions on the opportunities and barriers that exist for Indigenous communities – especially aboriginal youth – in the resource sector.

We will hear from Indiginous leadership, youth, the union movement, corporate Canada and representatives from the government on what lies ahead for Canada's indigenous communities.
