Description

The UK’s Department for International Trade (DIT)and the High Commission of Canada in the UK are hosting a Canada and UK Infrastructure Forum in Toronto, Canada, 7-8 November 2018, exclusively for qualifying UK companies and their subsidiaries in North America, following the Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnership’s (CCPPP) annual conference, 5-6 November 2018.

This exclusive initiative is open to qualified UK suppliers who are either currently participating in Canada’s infrastructure market or are proactively pursuing the market. On day one, sessions will be organised to provide delegates access and dialogue with decision makers and industry influencers. Day two will be an opportunity to showcase UK expertise to an invited audience. Please register your interest and organisers will contact you to confirm your eligibility. Registration closes Monday 22 October 2018. This event is free of charge.

Details will be provided to confirmed delegates. Sessions are in development and subject to change. Draft sessions include:

Day one – Wednesday 7 November 2018: Transit Hub Projects in Canada, Working with a Major Contractor, Intelligent/Connected Infrastructure, First Nations & Remote Communities Infrastructure, Municipal and Provincial infrastructure, Doing Business in Canada – Insight from UK Suppliers

Day two – Thursday 8 November 2018 (morning): Sharing the UK’s global experience - Transit Oriented Development and Community Revitalisation
