Event Details

Be a part of the conversation that delivers long term growth in Canada

Some of the best minds, in the same room. Thought leaders and practitioners you’d be unlikely to hear anywhere else discussing the latest policy challenges and opportunities, and sharing insights on how to boost Canada’s GDP.

PPF’s Canada Growth Summit has fast become a Canadian institution, a can’t-miss event on Canada’s economic policy calendar that brings together 400+ of the top minds in policy, business, investment and government. Last years highlights include Finance Minister Bill Morneau, who spoke to “Going the Distance on Inclusive Growth” and Mark Carney, Governor of the Bank of England in conversation with PPF President & CEO, Edward Greenspon.

In 2019, the Summit will again focus on some of the big challenges and opportunities confronting the Canadian economy.

Expert Table Dinners (registration available with Growth Summit ticket purchase on a first-come-first-served basis)

Time: 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on April 10

Attend one of the Canada Growth Summit ‘Expert Table’ dinners, held throughout Toronto’s downtown. Dinner registrations can be made after selecting your Growth Summit ticket type.

Back by popular demand, these dinners offer a select number of Summit registrants an opportunity – on a first-come-first-served basis – to dine and discuss growth-related issues with a range of leading subject-matter experts. Highlight’s from last year include Chief of Staff to Prime Minister Trudeau, Katie Telford, who spoke to “Making the Economy Work for All”, and President & Managing Director of General Motors Canada, Steven Carlisle, who presented his take on how “Autonomous Vehicles Will Change Everything”

**By registering for the Growth Summit, you will have the option on a first-come first-served basis to either select from one of the 'Expert Table' dinners currently listed or to take a chance and sign up for a dinner yet to be announced. Please note: by signing up for a dinner yet to be announced, you are guaranteed a seat at a dinner, however this will again be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Public Policy Forum

The Public Policy Forum works with all levels of government and the public service, the private sector, labour, post-secondary institutions, NGOs and Indigenous groups to improve policy outcomes for Canadians. As a non-partisan, member-based organization, we work from "inclusion to conclusion," by convening discussions on fundamental policy issues and by identifying new options and paths forward. For 30 years, the Public Policy Forum has broken down barriers among sectors, contributing to meaningful change that builds a better Canada.
