o Panel discussions around various subjects including how to develop engagement in the African diaspora.

ABOUT

This event will mark the pre-launch of the International African Diaspora Summit, which will be held in Toronto from October 11th to 13th, 2019. Themed " Bridging the gaps. United for our Youth."

The International African Diaspora Summit is part of LEAD Africa : a Youth and Women’s Leadership, Empowerment and Economic Development Campaign designed to mobilize and engage the global African diaspora, to unite as one voice for "The Africa we all want". LEAD will also support the AU Office of Youth Envoy (OYE) action plan on the four pillars of Education, Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Engagement for the “1 +1 million by 2021 initiative.

‘1+1 million by 2021’ Initiative’ is organized and presented by the African Union, African Union Sixth Region Canada & The Americas.
