Instrumental in accomplishing these objectives are knowledgeable and skilled workers; however, a particularly important factor that distinguishes the success of one organization from its competitors is the ability to value employee diversity as a business strategy.

An organization that desires sustainable growth must continuously learn to embrace, celebrate & maximize the diversity of its workforce.

With four years to the end of the UN's International Decade for People of African Descent, it is time to harmonize the efforts of diversity experts & enthusiasts in the critical power blocs and different areas of authority to develop a strategic roadmap for corporations & communities to end Anti-Black Systemic Racism.

In December 2014, the UN General Assembly passed Resolution 68/237, proclaiming 2015 to 2024 as the International Decade for People of African Descent.

In the Resolution, they indicated the following:

“Around 200 million people identify themselves as being of African descent live in the Americas. Millions more live in other parts of the world, outside of the African continent. Whether as descendants of the victims of the transatlantic slave trade or as more recent migrants, they constitute some of the poorest and most marginalized groups. Studies and findings by international and national bodies demonstrate that people of African descent still have limited access to quality education, health services, housing, and social security. In many cases, their situation remains largely invisible, and insufficient recognition and respect have been given to the efforts of people of African descent to seek redress for their present condition. They all too often experience discrimination in their access to justice, and face alarmingly high rates of police violence, together with racial profiling.”

With four years to the end of the International Decade for People of African Descent, we have set aside two half-days for the executives in major cities, communities, colleges and corporations to share and discuss their short and long-term strategy to advance and achieve the United Nations Resolution 68/237.

The objective of the Canadian Congress on Inclusive Diversity and Equitable Workplace 2021 is to harmonize sociopolitical, corporate, academic, and religious efforts to develop a strategic roadmap to end Anti-Black Systemic Racism .

The Canadian Congress on Inclusive Diversity & Equitable Workplace 2021 will be leveraging the United Nations Resolution 68/237 to harmonize the efforts of different advocacy groups across the country to develop a strategic roadmap for corporations and communities to end anti-black systemic racism in Canada.

One thousand participants are expected from the corporations, communities, religious and academic institutions around the world as well as arms of the municipal, provincial and federal governments of Canada.
