Event Information
About this Event
CHNC 2021 will be held as a virtual event.
The inaugural Canadian Healthcare Navigation Conference (CHNC 2021) will be hosted in partnership between NaviCare/SoinsNavi at the University of New Brunswick in Saint John and the Family Navigation Project at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto on April 15-16, 2021.
Our goal is to create a platform for the sharing of best practices in navigation as well as for knowledge translation and exchange.
Attendees will learn about existing models of navigation across Canada; best practices in implementation and evaluation; and ongoing research in the field of navigation.
Keynote Speakers include Ms. Keli Anderson (President & CEO of FamilySmart in Vancouver BC), and Dr. Karen Freund (Expert in developing models of patient navigation in the USA).
Registration for trainees will be at a lower cost.
A limited number of persons with lived experience are able to attend the virtual conference free of charge. To apply for a registration subsidy as a person with lived experience, please e-mail navigationconference@gmail.com for more details.
