Event description

Description

The Canadian Mineral Processors (CMP) is a technical society of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM). The CMP provides opportunities to meet with industry operators, become familiar with current issues and practices, and support advancement of technology in mineral processing operations.

This year, the technical conference for the MB/SK region is in Saskatoon, at the Delta Bessborough Hotel on the afternoon of November 16th.

Technical presentations (not papers) are requested at this time. If you would like to present, please submit your abstract by September 30th. The conference program will be finalized in October.

Registration to attend is now open through EventBrite. Seating is limited, so please register early to assure your attendance. Registration will close Nov. 9th or when the room reaches capacity, whichever comes first.

Thanks to generous sponsorship, there is no charge to attend this year’s technical conference. Please contact Lorne for sponsorship opportunities.

A related event is the CIM Saskatoon branch’s “Mineral Processors Night” on the evening of November 16th. This general membership dinner meeting will be held across the street at the Sheraton Cavalier Hotel, with a featured speaker. A separate registration is required, that will open a few weeks prior to the evening meeting. For more details, go to: http://www.cim.org/en/Societies-and-Branches/Branches/Saskatoon/Vision-Mission.aspx

We look forward to seeing you there!
