Event description
The virtual Canadian National Negotiation Competition will take place Feb. 26-28, 2021.

About this Event

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Organizing Committee of the Canadian National Negotiation Competition plans to hold the competition this year in a virtual format. The dates are Feb. 26-28, 2021.

The Canadian Negotiation Competition was founded in 2017 to promote alternative dispute resolution, build networks across Canadian schools, and to serve as a qualifier for the annual International Negotiation Competition. Teams of two are invited to compete from law schools across Canada to showcase their negotiation skills in a simulated setting, representing parties in a range of scenarios. Teams will be assessed not only on the result they secure for their client, but also on a range of criteria designed to reflect good lawyering skills.

The competition is a great opportunity for students to continue to build their skills, and showcase their talents. It is also a chance to advance to the International Negotiation Competition. We hope that your law school will participate.

The cost to enter CNNC is $200 per team. Each school can register a maximum of 2 teams. Registration will open soon and will remain open until all spots are filled. Currently, the University of Saskatchewan is not accepting cheques (due to COVID-19 restrictions and campus closure).
