The goal of our conference is to help people who stutter to explore attitudes toward speaking and stuttering, gain self-confidence, and hear the latest in stuttering research and treatment. We also provide a social meeting space during the day for everyone to talk and make valuable contacts within the stuttering community, and to simply enjoy the company of other people who share a similar life challenge.
Who can attend - is there a program for children?
All are welcome to attend, including adults and teenagers who stutter, parents/friends/family of those who stutter, speech-language pathologists and other professionals. There is no programming for children who stutter this year, but this may be available in the future.
What's the cost?
Adults are $37 and students are $27, lunch and refreshments included.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Dundas subway is a 5 minute walk. All-day parking on Saturdays is available for $8 on Victoria St (next to the venue). Access from Dundas St East or West.
Will I have to talk in front of people?
No. Speaking in front of the conference attendees is optional and there will be no pressure to speak. You are welcome to come and listen to the presentations and workshops. CSA Board members and volunteers will be easy to spot if you want to talk in private.
