We are sorry to announce that due to a family emergency, author Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah has had to cancel his much-anticipated event tonight (May 27) at 6:00 pm at Toronto Reference Library. We hope to rearrange the event and will share further details if a new date is confirmed.

Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah is the author of the bestselling short story collection Friday Black, which explores themes surrounding Black identity as it relates to a range of contemporary social issues.

Hear Adjei-Brenyah discuss his debut book and the role that fiction can play in tackling urgent instances of racism and cultural unrest.
