Cost: $22/Garden members & concession*, $25/public

Prices include GST; does not include Eventbrite fees. Concession = Youth (13-17), UNA Residents, UBC Students, UBC Faculty, UBC Staff, Seniors (65+).

Description: Learn timely techniques for designing and caring for your water wise garden. This class will enhance your knowledge of plants and provide you with effective watering strategies that will enable you to have a well tended garden with a low impact on our water supply systems. Dress for the weather including footwear for all terrains.

Instructor: Egan Davis is the Horticultural Training Program instructor at UBC Botanical Garden and a sought after guest speaker. He is knowledgeable about irrigation, plant varieties and techniques for sustainable gardening best practices.

Cancellation & Refund Policies: UBC Botanical Garden reserves the right to cancel any workshop or reduce the number of instructional hours, should the class not reach 25% capacity 5 working days before the class. In the event that a course is cancelled, UBC Botanical Garden will offer the option of transferring to another course, or obtaining a full refund. All cancellations must be made at least 5 working days before the start of the course by contacting garden.programs@ubc.ca. A $15 processing fee is charged for cancellations. There is no fee for transferring the registration to another person.
