Details about the day:

Join us for a unique day-long excursion to Xwaaqw'um on Saltspring Island. We will paddle by canoe from Maple Bay to Xwaaqw'um (also known as Burgoyne Bay Provincial Park) on Saltspring Island.

As we journey on the canoe you will hear some of the traditional stories about the lands and waters that we pass and when we arrive we will be welcomed ashore. Elders and project leaders will share what's going on at Xwaaqw'um, we will participate in a Salmon Pi'kwun lunch and then make our way back home. More details of the day will be announced closer to the date.

Space is limited so register soon for this incredible experience.
