If you're a farmer interested in learning more about the beef you're selling, this workshop is for you! Join us for this unique opportunity to break down a side of beef with Dr. Phil Bass. Dr. Bass is a Meat Scientist with the University of Idaho who trains butchers for Canadian Angus Beef and was named "top 10 industry leaders" by Cattle Business. While breaking down the side, Dr. Bass will be explaining the different cuts, the selling points and price of points of different cuts, how breed and feed translate into carcass attributes, and much more!

This workshop follows Carcass 101 (Part 1) held on January 12. It will take place at Pinetree Catering, 121 Kuusisto Road, Thunder Bay. Start time is 10am. Lunch will be provided.
