Career Loans: Webinar for Nigerian Canadian Nurses Association

Career Loans is hosting a public webinar aimed towards members of the Nigerian Canadian Nurses Association. Join us as we cover topics such as: how internationally trained nurses can return to their career in Canada, what schooling options are available, and how Career Loans can help you throughout the process.

Our Guest Speakers will be Dr. Juliet Onabadejo, Nursing Professor, Red Deer College and Gillian Luff-Schieman, Student Recruiter, NorQuest College.

Please note: This webinar is intended for internationally trained individuals in Alberta and Saskatchewan. While this event is catered towards the Nigerian Canadian Nurses Association, the content covered would be helpful for any internationally trained nurse in Canada.

Career Loans is a virtual program for internationally trained professionals living in Alberta and Saskatchewan. The program helps newcomers continue their career in Canada by providing free online career support services. Eligible clients can also apply for a micro loan of up to $15,000 to help pay for the costs of training and foreign credential recognition.

Career Loans is funded by the Government of Canada (ESDC) and coordinated by the Centre for Education and Training (TCET).
